FAFSA Eligibility Checklist

  • Are a U.S. Citizen or Eligible Non-Citizen (have a green card)
  • Have a Valid Social Security Number
  • Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Are Registered with the Selective Service if Male age 18 to 25
  • Enrolled in an Eligible Degree or Certificate Program
  • Enrolled at Least Half Time to Qualify for Direct Loan Program Funds
  • Demonstrate Financial Need
  • Complete and Return the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
